i will use this space here to blog mainly about the node-enocean devolopment. I will try to write everything in english, but the occasional german interlude might be forgiven.
What is node-enocean?
node-enocean is a native js (nodejs) implementation of the enocean radio protokol (ERP) and the enocean equipment profiles (EEP). The project consists of a number of modules for different purposes with the goal to make writing everything from specialized little helpers to fully fledged home automation servers easy using enocean (enocean @ wikipedia) .
Why this blog?
the project is in a state which already alows you to write some powerful little tools. It is so much fun developing all these little things that i want to share some of them with you.
Also seeing some project beeing developed with node-enocean might make it easier for you to start using ist.
I will start with a little series about setting up a simple environment an getting started.
